I grew up in the Cedar Valley and earned my undergrad degree at Drake University. Hoping to pursue a Masters in Public Health, I now work in planning and development at the Black Hawk County Health Department. As a relative newlywed, I’ve been married to my husband, Cam, for a little over a year. We live in Waterloo and both joined the Jaycees in February 2008. I love working with kids and have become involved in Big Brothers, Big Sisters mentoring, ECHOES after school program, and teaching Sunday school. In 2006, I was a Fulbright scholar in Jordan (my second home!), and I have been blessed to be able to travel to more than a dozen countries in the past few years. With many exciting projects in the works, I look forward to serving the Jaycees in 2009.
