As a young professional, I enjoy serving my community and promoting eastern Iowa and all it has to offer. As a Jaycee, I believe that passionate people working towards a common goal can lead to great things. I enjoy everything the Jaycees offer from networking and project management to socials and volunteering.
I live in Waterloo with my fiancé Dustin (also in the Jaycees) and our cat Peanut. I have met wonderful people through the Jaycees including my fiancé, my best friends, my realtor, my chiropractor, my future wedding photographer, my tax accountant, and my bank. Not to mention the hundreds of other people from around the state who I may get to work with in the future.
I work for the YWCA of Black Hawk County as the Marketing & Development Director. I am also finishing my MA in Philanthropy and Non-Profit Development from UNI. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, photography, art and interior design/ home improvements.
